lopez island

a fall REtreat

October 2nd - 4th, 2026

About this experience

There’s no place like the San Juan Islands - let's explore the beauty of these islands by the Salish Sea that we call home! Enjoy a tranquil and wholesome weekend on Lopez Island at a peaceful farm stay as we step into fall.

Our fall retreat includes energizing and grounding practices with Mariana, daily sauna time, an astrology and a writing workshop led by other island creatives, accommodation and locally sourced meals throughout your stay.

Take time to slow down and enjoy the calm surroundings, hang out with the farm animals, explore the nearby trails, sunbathe or cool down by the pond.

UPDATE: The retreat is now FULL. I am truly sorry I cannot accommodate everyone at this time. I am already planning two weekend retreats for next year to ensure everyone who wants to join has the opportunity. Please join the waitlist.

Our location

Midnight’s Farm sits on a 100‑acre diversified property with pastures, a pond, a market garden, a composting site, and a large barn. It is much more than a working farm - it's a regenerative hub offering high-quality meat and produce, ecological innovation, educational experiences, and a quiet, immersive retreat in the stunning Lopez Island.

To create a deeper connection to nature and our surroundings we will be camping on the farm’s expansive property near the sunny fields by the pond and the private yoga studio. Option to borrow camping gear is available upon request. For those who desire a more comfortable yet still rustic feel, the farm offers a charming 2‑bedroom, 1‑bath guest house (2 queens + 1 twin) that can operate as housing for up to 5 guests- with the option to share this accommodation with a friend, partner, or other participants.

MARIANA MALKI

Mariana is a lifelong movement practitioner, yoga teacher, and certified yoga therapist. Her teaching journey began with alignment-based vinyasa in Thailand and deepened with studies in traditional Hatha Yoga and Yoga Therapy in India. She is also a trained breath-work facilitator, co-founder of Flow Collective, a donation-based yoga space, and owner of Atma Yoga & Community in Friday Harbor. Her classes are welcoming, creative, and supportive. Mariana’s classes invite deep harmony between mind, body, and breath, encouraging students to trust in their own experience of being. Whether you’re in her energizing morning classes or in her slower led classes, students are encouraged to witness their layers of depth in their physical, mental, and emotional bodies bringing them closer to the source within. She has led retreats in Sri Lanka for the three consecutive years, and is now excited to share another of her favorite countries with you. She is happiest when she's near the ocean, living simply, and surrounded by a supportive, soulful community.
